Family Medicine Board Review Resources

There seem to be a lot of questions about how residents can access FM Board Review materials. I want to remind you that the AAFP maintains an online question bank at:
http://www.aafp.org/online/en/home/cme/boardrev/questions.html

This question bank appears taken from old In-Training Exams, though may be updated with new information. Divided into 10 question chunks by clinical category, it is easy to do just a few questions when time allows and a computer is handy. You will need to know your AAFP ID number in order to access these questions. If you don't know your number, you may need to get it directly from the AAFP, as they have not been willing to share them with us.

In addition, we participated in the development of the National Family Medicine Board Review Course, annually presented by the Center for Medical Education, Inc. We can obtain access to the some course materials for your individual resident personal use, but not distribution. See me for details.

I have added a Boad_Review tag to the list at right. I will try to add other board review materials as I become aware of them. If you are aware of any such materials, please let me know.

Dr. Z.
